Only one block south of the historic Fredericksburg, TX Main Street you will
find yourself in a secluded creekside retreat at Alpenblumen on
Baron's Creek Bed and Breakfast. This 1930 cottage offers
visitors the choice of one or two bedrooms.
Front porch rockers invite you to relax and enjoy small town
charm. A private deck overlooks the lovely acre lot and spring-fed
Baron's Creek. The Certified Urban Wildlife Sanctuary has lots
of birds and wildlife year round to entertain you. Many
nesting birds, bluebonnets and blossoms greet you every spring.
Great place for photographs.
The front bedroom of our bed and breakfast has a comfy king-size Stearns and Foster bed.
An additional bedroom with a queen-size four-poster bed may be
rented to create a two bedroom accommodation. Later in 2008
another detached bed and bath--Edelweiss Zimmer-- will be
available to create a three bedroom accommodation.
Through the back porch sunroom there is a wonderful view of the
property and the bird feeders. The kitchen has old farmhouse
cabinets with German Florentine glass. The bathroom has a whirlpool
tub and is between the two bedrooms.
Alpenblumen on Baron's Creek Bed and Breakfast is perfect for couples or ladies on a
Hill Country shopping trip. Self serve hot cereals, coffee, cocoa and tea are provided for
breakfast. You are only one or two blocks from several restaurants and a
bakery. There is satellite TV, wireless Internet, V.C.R., phone,
microwave and full-size refrigerator. No host in house.
